Prof. Dr. Kutbettin Demirdağ, the Rector of Firat University has issued a message due to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3.
In the message Rector Prof. Dr. Demirdağ states;
“The 3rd December , which was regarded as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities by the United Nations in 1992, has a great importance as it attracts the attention to our handicapped people.
Being handicapped is the result of a variety of different reasons, and the only way to live a normal life for these people is to provide social awareness among people. Handicaps should never be in the way for keeping up the rhythm of life.”
